RaidComp
I recently learned of MMO Champion’s RaidComp. It’s a nifty little web-based tool you can use to set up raid groups.
Here’s my first 10-man raid setup, attempting to bring one of every class to the raid. One thing I’m not sure about is that it says I’ve got two tanks, but it’s just a Fury Warrior and a Blood DK (in addition to the Prot paladin, which is obviously a tank). The DK must count as a tank, I guess, though Blood is supposedly their big melee DPS tree. This, however, is based on my experience putting groups together for ZA and trying to get that timer down. (One main AoE tank (the paladin) to hold onto pretty much everything, and an off-tank to be there for the purpose of helping tank Bear and Lynx.)
Here’s a 25-man comp that I think pretty much brings everything, though perhaps an excess of tanks and not enough healing. I’m not sure exactly how 25-mans are going to be tuned, but I seem to remember 7 healers being a good number; that setup has 6.
Two things I’d like RaidComp to include:
First, the ability to hover over a class and see what buffs/debuffs they provide, in addition to being able to hover over the buffs/debuffs and seeing what classes provide them.
Second, in addition to the count they have on the lower right, a count for each class, and a breakdown of roles by class (instead of (or in addition to) the generic “x tanks,” I’d like to see “x tanks: x warriors, x paladins, x druids, x death knights,” etc.).
Other than that, definitely a fun little app.

They should add Feral Druids as cats as well as Tanks, at the moment Feral only counts as Tank.
