Luth is the character I have vested the most time in, at 87 days /played as of 3/10/08 (update: 97 days played as of 8/22/08). I may be playing Zerei more right now, but that is due mostly to the undesirability of fury warriors in smaller groups.
Started in mid ‘05 as an alt, I began seriously playing as Luth in 20-29 pvp in early ‘06. At the time I had a full set of the “Slayer’s” mail items (all green, no blues), and two blue weapons I can’t recall the name of. It wasn’t until I leveled her into the 30-39 bracket that I really began enjoying the character, putting all 30 points into the fury tree. I was addicted after her first 1k execute crit on some poor priest.
From there I went on into the 40s and attained the pvp rank 8 of “Legionnaire,” and from there into the 50s where I achieved rank 10, “Champion.” I got to exalted with all of the battlegrounds reputations, nabbed all the armor rewards, and stopped. I had thought about getting to 11 for the free epic mount, but made it to 60 first, at which point pvp lost its thrill to me as I was nothing but completely outgeared, and the thrill of fury pvp was lost as Mortal Strike really became more powerful. Almost simoultaneously, the pvp guild I was in broke up, and I was left pretty much alone.
I joined a small raiding guild then which was focused on ZG, AQ20 and was working on MC. From day 1 in AQ20 and then in ZG I was having fun again.
I played Luth heavily in raids and even still ran Strat, Scholo, and UBRS right up and until I got my mage to 60, at which point she became my raiding main and Luth took a bit of a backseat.
When The Burning Crusade was released, I switched my focus to leveling and gearing Zerei. Luth was 68 when Zerei dinged 70.
Update 07/03/08: Renamed to Niemandra last month. Picked up the S2 2h-sword via honor, is now a MS bot.
